GENERAL INFORMATION
ON IDF 3rd WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP and 2nd EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP OF MODERN DANCE SPORTS
Date of competition: from May 26th to May 29th, 2005.

Nominations are accepted: if issued by the IDF members about any dance pieces which were qualified in their own competition system in a manner and quantity as determined by IDF General Assembly resolutions, and for which the dancers have the competition licence of IDF. Nominations should be made using the IDF federation forms filled out in BLOCK CAPITAL letters, clearly, one nomination form for each dance piece, respectively.
The national member federations are obliged to collect the nominations before the nomination deadline and send such after checking and summarization to IDF (3 dances, respectively, in solo, couples, duo, small group, forma-tion for each age group and dance disciplines, plus wild cards).
Nomination deadline: April 12th, 2005. The nominations arriving after the deadline may not be accepted. No on-site nominations are accepted.

Using fax, the nominations should be sent to +390623312291. Using registered letter mail, the nominations should be sent to IDF Head Office c/o Ventura Franco Segreteria Generale, Via Treves n°13, 40134 Bologna, Italy, and in all of these case, the nominations should arrive to the above said address latest till the nomination deadline.
Accomodations: Accomodations may be ordered ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY through the Organization Committee. The accomodation offer and order form are given in the attachments. Accomodation order should be verified by presenting the copies of the order form and the bank transfer order about the payment of accomodation fee at the registration for the competition. Not presenting such documentation, no start numbers may be issued.
Deadline for accomodation order: April 20th, 2005. The accomodation orders arriving after the deadline may not be fulfilled.

All and every accomodation orders will be verified by a receipt letter by the organizers.

Process of registration for the competition:
- handing over of accomodation vouchers against the order documentation (without documentation, no accomodation may be given out);
- issuing of start numbers, entrance cards and competition information against the presentation of nomination documentation;
For convenience, a separate registration information letter will be issued.
Music of dance pieces:
Exclusively and only on compact disc (CD). Handing over of CD-s is to be made to the music (D.J.) counter by the team representatives only, before the dance getting into the competition in due time. The team repre-sentatives are also obliged to pick up the CD-s definitely after the performance. Only one dance music may be registered on one CD. The CD intended to be used on the competition may contain only ONE track. The disc should be provided with obvious identification containing the club name, dance title, discipline, category, and the name(s) of dancer(s) in case of solo or duo/couple dance, using the IDF CD covers.
Stage trials:
Only before the competition is starting on each day from 7.30 to 8.45 AM, on a previous inquiry to the Organization Committee. Such inquiries should be made in writing and sent directly to latest till May10th, 2005. No club or team will have the occassion to receive more than 10 minutes on the stage.
Timing and order of competition days:
As described in the Time Schedule. Order of the categories will be determined by the competition timing to be made and issued by IDF.
Food, drinks:
There will be an open-air restaurant and two buffets operating on the location of the competition. All of them are having very modest prices. Their scheduled menu will be presented also in details. In the open-air restaurant, soups, fresh-made dishes and specialities will also be offered from a prize-winner chef, while in the buffets refreshment drinks and sandwiches may be purchased. Supplies allow for staying on the competition place for the whole day.
Entrance tickets:
Description of the ticket system, the information for the admittance, etc. are contained in a separate leaflet issued by the local organizers.
You can also find a ticket order form, which allows for purchasing the necessary tickets in advance.
